We're the Windy City Weatherbirds - a London based Trad Jazz group specialising in Swing and Dixieland music inspired by our love of Bobby Hackett, Jack Teagarden, Louis Armstrong, Muggsy Spanier and Wild Bill Davison to name a few!

Formed several years ago during our time spent studying at various UK conservatoires we now perform concerts, shows and gigs and are also available for private function bookings.

The band is a bit of a 'family business' and features a 3 brothers frontline - Magnus, Joe and Daniel Pickering on trumpet, clarinet and trombone. The line-up coming to Island, also features Sol Grimshaw (guitar) who will be very well known to local audiences, and local musicians Sandor Sztankovics (tuba) and Terry Dickinson (drums).
